We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected — in plain language.
Swiss AI Master is an online AI training platform operated from Switzerland. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data collected in connection with the Service.
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data we collect when you visit our website, purchase our training, or use any feature of the Swiss AI Master platform. It complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, in force since September 2023) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide and improve our Service. We do not collect sensitive personal data.
| Category | Data collected | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Payment data | Payment confirmation and order reference. We do not store card numbers — all card data is processed and stored by Stripe. | Stripe (payment processor) |
| Email address | Only if you contact us directly via email. Not required to use the course. | You, voluntarily |
| Course progress | Days completed, quiz scores, XP, notes, and certificate name. Stored in your browser's local storage only — not on our servers. | Your browser (local only) |
| AI Tutor messages | Messages you send to the AI Tutor are processed via Anthropic's API. We do not store conversation history on our servers. | Anthropic API |
| Usage data | Basic website analytics (page views, session duration) via anonymised analytics. No personally identifiable data. | Netlify (hosting) |
We use the data we collect solely for the following purposes:
We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent, and we do not use automated decision-making that significantly affects you.
Under Swiss revFADP and GDPR, we process personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so:
We share data with a small number of trusted third-party service providers solely to operate the Service. We do not sell your data to any third party.
| Service provider | Purpose | Data shared | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment processing | Payment data only (we never see your card number) | USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) |
| Anthropic, PBC | AI Tutor (Claude API) | Messages you send to the AI Tutor, processed in real time | USA (standard contractual clauses) |
| Netlify, Inc. | Website hosting and delivery | Anonymised access logs | USA (standard contractual clauses) |
| Zoho Corporation | Email (info@swissaimaster.ch) | Email correspondence only if you contact us | EU (Zoho EU servers) |
We require all third-party processors to maintain appropriate security standards and to process your data only for the specified purpose. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.
Our course platform uses your browser's local storage — not cookies — to save your progress, completed days, quiz scores, XP, and certificate name. This data is stored entirely on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Local storage data persists until you clear your browser data or uninstall your browser. It is not accessible by third parties or advertisers.
Our website may use minimal functional cookies for basic site operation (such as your language preference). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies that identify you personally.
When you use the AI Tutor feature, your messages are sent via an encrypted connection to Anthropic's Claude API, which generates a response and returns it to your browser. The following applies:
AI-generated video lessons are created by sending a text prompt (the lesson topic) to the Claude API. No personal data is included in these requests.
We retain different categories of data for different periods:
When data is no longer needed, we delete it securely. You may request early deletion of any personal data we hold about you (subject to legal retention obligations).
Under Swiss revFADP and GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of any inaccurate personal data.
Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) at fdpic.ch, or with your local EU supervisory authority if you are an EU resident.
Some of our service providers are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place:
These safeguards ensure your data receives equivalent protection to that required in Switzerland and the EEA.
